"My future's not linked to Messi's"

After losing to Sociedad 1-2 after still getting over winning the La Liga title, the captain spoke to the press. He was asked about his future and he said that, at the moment, he's not sure. "I've still not taken the decision. I've got several options, but nothing's been agreed. I won't decide until La Liga's over, because now is about enjoying my farewell", he said to 'Sport'.
The only certainty for Busquets at the moment is that the decision he makes will be his own, and not to do with what Leo Messi: "Everyone has to take their own decisions. Everyone's got their own separate lives, families and intentions. Of course I'd like to play with him again, but my future is not linked to his".
As for him in particular, he won't be changing his mind. "I'm not like Mateu Alemany....", he said about the sporting director, who announced he won't be staying before then changing heart. "Everything has a start and an end. From now, I'll support Barca from wherever I am and I'll be another fan. I think they can start a successful period. We've created a solid team that can go up against everyone".
