The Frenchman is part of the coaching staff at Salernitana, a team coached by Paulo Sousa. This is the turning point of his next goal, which he revealed in an interview with 'Bild': to become a coach.
Franck Ribery spoke openly about it: "My goal is to become a coach. I'm currently studying to get my licence. Being a coach will allow me to rediscover the adrenaline and pressure of training and matches.
The former player did not forget the good references he had in his playing career: "In my 12 years at Bayern I had a great relationship with Hitzfeld, Heynckes and Ancelotti, who is an exceptional man. I got the most out of each of them, because I enjoyed myself like a child.
Franck Ribery hung up his boots after 631 games between Metz, US Bologne, Stade Brestois, Galatasaray, Olympique de Marseille, Bayern Munich, Fiorentina and the aforementioned Salernitana, where he started his journey in a coaching staff.
