Nacho confirms he's staying at Real Madrid

After much speculation about a possible departure, Nacho Fernandez has apparently made the decision to stay at Real Madrid next season. The defender announced his decision while speaking to 'TVE', while away on national duty with the Spanish team.
"I go hand in hand with my club and my family. There are always offers from abroad, but I have decided to stay for another year. I'm happy about it and I'm looking forward to continuing," said the defender with a broad smile.
Nacho Fernandez will see his 23rd season in Madrid next yar, as he came up through the lower echelons of the club in his youth.
Villarreal and Inter Milan, among others, had shown great interest in Nacho. The defender had doubts about continuing in the capital, as his contract expires on June 30th. In the end, the player decided to renew and the announcement will be made next week.
