PSG coach Christophe Galtier has reportedly already been dismissed from the club. The management are yet to announce the sacking but several outlets, including 'AFP', 'Le Parisian' and 'L'Equipe' have reported it has been officialised.
The Parisian board are therefore looking for a replacement and they could have chosen Julian Nagelsmann. The German coach has been available since he was sacked from Bayern in March.
According to 'L'Equipe', he is expected in Paris within 24 hours. PSG's goal is to continue discussions in order to get the matter resolved as quickly as possible.
'RMC Sport' report that Nagelsmann is indeed the favourite to take the job, ahead of former Spain coach Luis Enrique and Xabi Alonso, who looks to be difficult to pry away from Bayer Leverkusen.
Whoever they may involve, whatever's cooking in the French capital will be gathering steam in the next few days. Regarding players arriving, Manuel Ugarte and Marco Asensio should also be announced officially soon.
