Sevilla skipper Jesus Navas returned to the Spanish national team after two years and eight months since his last national game. The defender said he is "looking forward to the next two matches" and will enjoy the Nations League.
"It means a lot to me to be back. I'm looking forward to the next two games. It's very special for me to be back and I'm looking forward to it," he claimed.
The Sevilla right-back has been called up by coach Luis de la Fuente and has been a surprise for Spanish football fans. The manager wanted to go for experienced players like Navas and Jordi Alba.
"I'm going to try to bring my experience and desire. We have to fight for the Spanish national team and we will give our best. It's a very nice moment," Navas added.
