Chelsea's exit operation is going according to plan. The London club is making several decisions regarding the list of players whose time at the Blues is numbered.
Among them is goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. Kepa Arrizabalaga's substitute returned to training with the rest of his team-mates this week and did so with his future up in the air.
According to 'The Times', negotiations to discuss his renewal with the English club are stalled. The club consider it more important to make such negotiations with players such as Mount, Kovacic and Kante.
The goalkeeper has started eight Premier League games, only two of those for manager Graham Potter, who replaced Thomas Tuchel on the bench at Stamford Bridge.
He is under contract with the Stamford Bridge side until June 2025 and owner Todd Boehly wants to sell players who have less than a two-year contract with the London club.
