Victor Osimhen's future is finally clear. According to reports in Italy, Osimhen, who had been dropped by Napoli, will play on loan at Galatasaray unless there is an unexpected turn of events.
Before this loan move is finalised, the Nigerian will reportedly renew his contract with the Italian side. Currently, his contract expires in 2026, but both parties will be tied until 30 June 2027 once the deal is finalised.
With that extension in place, it will be time for his loan move to Galatasaray to be finalised. The transfer is a loan without an option to buy and the Turkish club will pay Osimhen's entire salary - around 4.7 million euros per year.
The forward was close to Chelsea, but the English club fell far short of his financial expectations. Soon after, his destination seemed to be Saudi Arabia, but Al-Ahli changed course at the last minute and signed Ivan Toney.
