Barcelona will have to deliver if they want the Champions League anthem to play at the new Spotify Camp Nou next campaign. The board's plan is for the stadium to be ready to host matches again on 15th December this year.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', UEFA is only allowed one change of venue after the group stage, which will be a single drawer of 36 participants in the 2024/25 campaign due to the Champions League format change. As a result, the Catalans will host four of their pre-playoff matches.
All are due to take place at the Montjuic Stadium pending Xavi Hernandez's men qualify either for the play-offs prior to the round of 16 or the last 16 directly. These fixtures are scheduled for mid-February and early to mid-March, so these are the minimum calendar dates at which Europe's most coveted competition will return to the Camp Nou.
