Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram set to join Juventus on €20m deal

Juventus have reached an agreement with Nice for Khephren Thuram, according to both Fabrizio Romano and 'L'Equipe'. The deal will be 20 million euros fixed plus another 5 million euros in variables and the Frenchman will sign until 2029 with the Turin club. With this, the midfielder will play for the 'Vecchia Signora' just like his father Lilian.

Juventus are looking to strengthen their midfield and have set their sights on Nice youngster Khephren Thuram. The Frenchman will be the Italian club's second signing in this position, having already confirmed the arrival of Douglas Luiz.
According to both Fabrizio Romano and 'L'Equipe', the French side and the 'Vecchia Signora' have reached an agreement for the 23-year-old. The Italians will pay a fixed fee of 20 million euros with an option to pay a further five million euros in variable payments.
The French player will sign with the Turin club until June 2029. He has to pass the corresponding medical tests before joining his new destination. In addition, the clubs still have to finalise all the paperwork and make the signing official.
Khephren Thuram will follow in the footsteps of his father Lilian, who played for Juventus between 2001 and 2006. He made a total of 204 appearances in Turin, scoring one goal and assisting two.
Thuram's season at Nice has been a remarkable one, as have many of his teammates. The Frenchman made 29 appearances, scoring one goal and assisting one goal.
