Alarm bells were ringing in Paris on Monday. Leo Messi">Messi, without the club's permission, left for an engagement in Saudi Arabia, while the rest of his team-mates were training after losing last weekend.
This caused a huge anger at the Parisian club. The French side decided on Tuesday to suspend the Argentinian from playing and paying his wages for the next two weeks, which means he will not even be able to train.
'L'Equipe' went one step further and assured that Messi's future is far from the Parc des Princes. Paris Saint-Germain will not renew the Argentine's contract, unless there is a surprise.
'Marca' spoke to sources inside the club who confirmed the suspension. The suspension, however, will not be made public. Messi will miss two Ligue 1 games, with the title at stake.
"No player is above this club," said the source quoted to 'Marca', referring to the behaviour of '30' when he left for Saudi Arabia.
