Barcelona have just two games left this season at Montjuic and they need to make the most of them. Their defeat against Girona reduced their chances of securing second place, which could come closer with a potential win over Real Sociedad on Monday night. Just hours before the game, the Catalan club announced the squad list of Xavi Hernandez's coach.
It is not out of the question that they will field a player who has been playing very few games, such as Vitor Roque, whose agent publicly complained that the board closed the deal with Athletico Paranaense earlier than stipulated in the agreement for him to take on a secondary role to Lewandowski.
Moreover, Barcelona are surrounded by exit rumours for the upcoming transfer window as goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has been heavily linked with Saudi club Al-Ittihad. However, the German goalkeeper is more than established in Xavi's plans for the future.
Goalkeepers: Ter Stegen, Inaki Pena and Kochen
Defenders: Joao Cancelo, Inigo Martinez, Cubarsi, Araujo, Christensen, Marcos Alonso, Kounde and Hector Fort
Midfielders: Pedri, Fermin Lopez, Oriol Romeu, Sergi Roberto and Gundogan
Forwards: Ferran Torres, Raphinha, Lewandowski, Joao Felix, Vitor Roque and Lamine Yamal
