"Nobody's going to give us anything, hopefully God will help us in Qatar"
Leo Messi spoke to 'Ole' and had a few words for the Argentina fans. He promised his country that they will fight against anyone, because that is what characterises them. Undoubtedly, he knows that no team will make it easy for them.

Messi found it tough to win his first trophy with Argentina, but he managed it. The Copa America is sat proudly in his trophy cabinet, and the Argetine wants more. The man from Rosario is dreaming big, of winning the World Cup. "We know we can win it, but we don't know that we'll do it for sure", he said to 'Ole'.
The striker wanted to send a message to his fans in this interview: "Every time there's an important competition, we say the same thing. We're grateful for your love and we're as excited as the fans. We're hoping to give it our all as always".
"We're going to fight against any team. This team fights the same in every game, whether they're playing well or badly", he continued.
But Messi knows that the path to winning the World Cup will be long and tough: "I'm in no doubt that no one is going to gift us anything. We hope to play our best and hopefully God will be on our side".
In any event, Messi reckons that the Argentinian side is ready for anything, even losing if it happens. "This squad is prepared for the worst case scenario. In fact, that's how we got here. This team came together when we lost against Brazil in the semi-finals of the Copa America in 2019, and from then on, all this has grown. I think we'll be ready, hopefully we don't go through such lows and we continue to go forward", he finished by saying.
