The European Championship attracts all the attention in the football world. However, the future of many of the players taking part is still up in the air and unclear. One of those who took it upon himself to silence all the rumours about a possible exit was Alvaro Morata, who through an Instagram post, hinted that he will continue at Atletico.
However, the striker was asked again in an interview with 'El Desmarque' about the issue, to which he responded somewhat hesitantly: "I'm 100% focused on the Euro match. What I wanted was to be calm. In the end it's my feeling and everyone who knows me knows it, but in football nothing is certain and we'll have to see how we finish and all these things and then we'll see."
"It's my opinion from the deepest part of my heart, but it's what I say many times: there are times in Spain when it's complicated for me. I'm fed up with the talk of victimhood and that I'm complaining, but well. I just want this to end in the best possible way and enjoy it, because it could also be my last tournament with the national team", he added.
Morata also wanted to refer to whether it will be his last tournament with Spain: "It depends, it depends on how everything goes. It's difficult to make a decision like that, but it's a possibility".
