Odegaard on his future at Arsenal
Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard, spoke to 'TV2' about his future as a Gunner. The Norwegian said he was "very happy" at Emirates and hopes to continue next season as a key part of Mik Arteta's plans.

When Martin Odegaard looks to the future, he's wearing an Arsenal jersey. The Norwegian has no plans to leave Emirates Stadium and play for another club next season.
He declared as such, speaking to 'TV2', saying: "I'm very happy at Arsenal and I hope to stay a long time. We'll see about the contract situation after summer. I haven't spoken to Arsenal yet, but it doesn't depend on me. There's no rush, my contract is still long".
Odegaard will be at Arsenal until at least June 30th 2025. The negotiation to extend is just a matter of time, as the club are sure to want to keep hold of their captain, who came up through the Real Madrid academy.
The skipper leaves the season with 15 goals and seven assists, and was names Arsenal's Player of the Season. He is currently away on international duty with Norway, joining Premier League rival Erling Haaland. Most recently they were stunned by a late comeback from Scotland in Euro 2024 qualifiers.
