OFFICIAL: Atalanta's Siren Diao joins Granada on loan

Granada have added young striker Siren Diao to their squad for this season, as he joins the Andalusian side on loan from Atalanta.
After several days of negotiations, the two clubs and the player reached an agreement on Thursday which means that Siren Diao will play until 30th June 2025 for Granada on loan from Atalanta, who own his rights.
The 19-year-old Siren Diao began his career with Costa Brava Juvenil before moving to Italy to join Verona's youth teams. In January 2024, the striker signed for Atalanta's youth team, making 20 appearances and scoring five goals.
The player, who is an international with the different youth categories of the Spanish national team, will join Albanian Myrto Uzuni, Argentinian Lucas Boye and Israeli Shon Weissman in the Andalusian side's attack.
This is Granada's eighth signing for this season, following the arrivals of defender Pablo Insua (Sporting Gijpn), goalkeeper Luca Zidane (Eibar), full-back Rubén Sánchez (on loan from Espanyol), Georgian winger Giorgy Tsitaishvili (on loan from Dynamo Kiev), centre-back Loic Williams (Tenerife), midfielder Manu Trigueros (Villarreal) and centre-back Manu Lama (Fuenlabrada).
