Real Madrid's injury curse this season seems to have no end in sight. The latest to go down was Eduardo Camavinga, who had to be forced off the pitch in the second half of the 'Merengues' defeat to Liverpool after noticing problems in his biceps femoris.
Hours later there were reports in Spain that the France international could miss two to three weeks with a muscle injury, something Real Madrid finally confirmed on Thursday morning.
"After the tests carried out today on our player Eduardo Camavinga by the club's Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury in the biceps femoris of his left leg. Pending evolution," reads the statement.
Carlo Ancelotti will thus be without Camavinga until mid-December, although he has Rodrygo back for the final games of 2024.
