Chelsea have finally secured their star player for the long-term future. Cole Palmer has put pen to paper on a new contract with the Blues that extends his commitment to Enzo Maresca's side by a further nine years.
After the England playmaker's incredible last season, which saw him become the club's star player in his debut season at Stamford Bridge, Palmer received the England call-up for Euro 2024 and now a new contract with Chelsea that includes a salary rise.
The Manchester City youth product made 45 official appearances for Chelsea last season, scoring a whopping 25 goals and providing 15 assists to put him among the fittest players on the planet.
"I’m delighted to sign this new deal," Cole, 22, said. "I achieved a lot in my first season here and hopefully I can continue to experience great things at this club, both on a personal level and in terms of bringing success and trophies to Chelsea."
