OFFICIAL: Dortmund pay Guirassy's €17.5m clause to Stuttgart

The second top scorer of the last Bundesliga season has moved on. Serhou Guirassy, who finished the season with 30 goals, was second only to Harry Kane and is now leaving Stuttgart to join Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund.
He has signed until 2028 thanks to the Signal Iduna Park board exchanging his €17.5m termination clause. So while it may feel like a missed opportunity to sell him for more money this summer, the reality is that his departure will cause a significant green tick in the budget.
Interestingly, last season, Guirassy scored in all three games he played against Borussia Dortmund. He scored from the penalty spot on matchday 11, when Stuttgart won 2-1, in regular DFB Pokal round of 16 play, and on another occasion when the ball was already rolling during the 28th stop of the domestic championship.
