En-Nesyri is now officially a new Fenerbahce player. Both clubs have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player for a fee of around 25 million euros. The transfer was accelerated last weekend when the Turkish club met Sevilla's demands and managed to convince the player to join their squad.
The sale of En-Nesyri was practically inevitable this summer and it can be seen as a win-win for all parties involved.
The Andalusians get to pocket a good amount of money for a player who finishes his contract next year. En-Nesyri will be paid around six million euros and will play in the Champions League alongside Mourinho. The Portuguese coach has been one of the main reasons for the striker's move to Turkey.
The Moroccan leaves the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium after four and a half seasons. During these years he has scored 73 goals, reaching the 18-goal mark on three occasions, making him one of Sevilla's top ten all-time leading scorers.
In addition, he leaves in his memory great performances such as the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Manchester United.
