OFFICIAL: Jordi Alba joins Messi and Busquets in Miami

Jordi Alba's move to Inter Miami is now a reality. The left-back has signed for the American club following his departure from Barcelona at the end of last season.
The defender is on a contract until the end of 2024, with an option for a further year.The deal will be worth around 2 million euros, as he will be considered a TAM (targeted allocation money) player, one step below franchise player, the position currently occupied by Messi, Busquets and Josef Martinez.
Jordi Alba, who will wear the '18' shirt, will be reunited with his friends and former Barca teammates. A fact that undoubtedly influenced his decision, as the Spaniard had several offers on the table, including from Saudi Arabia, but decided to opt for a new adventure in the United States.

Jordi Alba put an end to a remarkable 11 seasons at Barcelona. A long chapter where he became one of the team's captains, making 459 appearances as a 'cule' and scoring 27 goals.
A legend of the Catalan club, just like his, once again, dressing room mates, Leo Messi and Busquets. The latter was a constant fixture throughout all his time at Barcelona and under whom he was the second captain of the team.
He played nine seasons with the Argentinian until he left for PSG. The partnership between the two on the left flank of the Camp Nou gave Barcelona great nights and was one of the crucial cogs in Barca's golden era.
Alba is ready for a new adventure, full of personal challenges, but always with the hunger to win new titles and continue to compete for everything. There is no doubt that he has plenty of quality and will be ready to leave his name on North American soil alongside Leo Messi and Sergio Busquets.
