Newcastle made the signing of Lloyd Kelly official on Thursday. The English defender leaves Bournemouth to join the Magpies until 30 June 2029. He already coincided with Eddie Howe in his time with the Cherries.

Newcastle announced the signing of Lloyd Kelly from Bournemouth. The English defender has already competed under Eddie Howe at the Vitality Stadium.
A deal that will tie him to the 'Magpies' for the next 5 seasons, until 30 June 2029. An operation with a view to the future European aspirations of the team that participated in the Champions League 2023-24.
Eddie Howe was full of praise for his new pupil: "He is a player I have admired since the early stages of his career. As well as his undoubted defensive ability, he brings versatility and leadership qualities that I think will make him a great fit for our team.
"He is at an age where he can still develop. He has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to working with him again," he concluded. Lloyd Kelly will strengthen Newcastle with the '25' on his back.
