OFFICIAL: Kessie swaps Barca for Saudi side Al Ahli

Barca continue to make moves in the market. On this occasion, the 'Cules' have just announced a new departure, that of Franck Kessie. The Ivorian, who joined the Catalan giants last summer for free, leaves the club to start a new journey in Saudi Arabia.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an eminent figure in the transfer market, the Saudi side have paid Barca 12.5 million euros, an amount that will allow the 'Cules' to comply with the 'Financial Fair Play' and try to sign two new reinforcements (also counting the money from the transfer of Dembele).
As if that were not enough, the club are also freeing up their wage bill, which was €6.5 million net per season. For his part, Kessie, who signs for three seasons, will now be paid more than 20 million euros per season at Al Ahli.
