Celta and Wolverhampton Wanderers closed on Tuesday the loan, with a mandatory buy option, of striker Jorgen Strand Larsen to the British team. Once this is done, the striker will be linked to the English team until 2029.
The 24-year-old Norwegian international will embark on a new stage in the Premier League after two seasons wearing the 'Celeste' shirt in La Liga, where he has played 69 games and scored 17 goals, 13 of them this past season.
Larsen's departure may accelerate the return of Borja Iglesias to Celta, a club he left six years ago after Espanyol paid 10 million of his release clause.
The Betis striker, who has played on loan at Bayer Leverkusen since January, is a request from coach Claudio Giraldez to the sporting director, Mexican Marco Garces. The arrival of Borja Iglesias may also lead to the loan of left-back Manu Sanchez to the Sevillian team.
