Leny Yoro has finally made a decision about his future. The 18-year-old will play in a Manchester United shirt until 2029 after leaving Ligue 1 side Lille.

Leny Yoro is officially a new Manchester United player after the French centre-back's incessant doubts about his future. He has decided to play under Erik ten Hag until 2029 and turned down Real Madrid to play at Old Trafford.
"Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Leny Yoro has joined the club, subject to registration. The French defender has signed a contract until June 2029, with the option to extend for a further year," United wrote on their website.
The defender travelled to Manchester with his inner circle on Wednesday to undergo medical tests. He passed the medical tests perfectly and finalised the details of his new five-year contract.
The Lille player was not expected to join the Red Devils this summer as he was more convinced to join Kylian Mbappe's club. But the possible lack of a prominent role and the indifference of the Spanish side have caused Yoro to prefer a move to England.
"Signing for a club with the stature and ambition of Manchester United so early in my career is an incredible honour. I know about the history of young players there and feel it can be the perfect place to reach my potential and achieve my ambitions, together with my new teammates. I cannot wait to get started," Leny Yoro said.
The Red Devils have paid a reported total of 62 million euros for his services - 50 million euros fixed plus 12 million euros in add-ons. Lisandro Martinez is expected to create an unstoppable combo with him in defence for the 2024/25 campaign.
