Dani Gomez was on the exit ramp after completing the last year in the second division with Levante and Valencia stepped up their interest, but the deal failed to materialise as the days went by.
Now, Levante UD and Valencia CF have reached an agreement for the loan of the striker until the end of the season, with a purchase option for the 'Ches', who announced that he will start training with his new teammates on Friday.
Levante UD will receive an economic remuneration for this loan of the striker from Madrid, who arrived at the Orriols club in the 2020-2021 season in the La Liga. Two years later, the player went on loan to RCD Espanyol and returned to the club last season.
Last April, Dani Gomez joined the select group of players who have played more than 100 games in the Levante shirt. The striker has played in 105 official matches (62 in La Liga, 34 in the Spanish second tier and 9 in the Copa del Rey) and has found the net on 16 occasions.
The 26-year-old striker has already coincided with the current Valencia coach Ruben Baraja in the ranks of Tenerife, participating in all the matches he coincided with the coach, which were a total of 28 in which he scored nine goals.
