Real Madrid and Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin have reached an agreement to renew the player's contract and he will remain with the Spanish side until 30 June 2030. The 25-year-old goalkeeper arrived at Madrid in 2018 at the age of just 19 and joined Los Blancos' first team in 2020.
Lunin has won 10 titles since playing for the Santiago Bernabeu club, including Champions League, League, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, Club World Cup and European Super Cup.
After Thibaut Courtois' ACL injury, the Ukrainian was a key player for Carlo Ancelotti's team last year, playing in all competitions and putting in great performances that led them to be chosen as a candidate to win the Yashin Trophy.
However, with the Belgian goalkeeper returning to action after recovering from injury, Lunin again became the Italian coach's second choice and this past summer there were rumours of a move away from the Spanish capital.
Finally, both club and player have done their part to reach an agreement and the goalkeeper will remain at Real Madrid until 2030.
