Marco Asensio finds himself back with a club. The Spanish striker, who has been free of contract since leaving Real Madrid at the end of the season, has just signed a four-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain.
The 27-year-old, who arrived in Paris at the beginning of June accompanied by his agent Jorge Mendes, passed his medical successfully and has now been announced by his new club, more than a month after signing his contract.
Asensio, who was also being targeted by Arsenal and Newcastle, has opted for Ligue 1 and PSG, home to a number of Spanish-speaking players, including Carlos Soler and Fabian Ruiz, with whom he plays alongside in the French national team.
He will also be reunited with Luis Enrique, who coached him at Spain for most of his career with 'La Roja'.
The Spanish international is expected to play on one wing, alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, as Di Maria did when he was at PSG.
At the age of 27 and after seven years with Real Madrid, the Mallorca-born player will be enjoying his first experience abroad.
