Lazio announced on Tuesday that Italian manager Marco Baroni will be the new coach following the departure of Igor Tudor. The Croatian resigned from his post after just three months in the Roman club's dugout.

"Lazio announce that they have entrusted the position of first team coach to Marco Baroni," they wrote on their website. This is how the Italian club announced the arrival of their new coach, in a letter that does not specify the duration of his contract.
Baroni arrives to replace Tudor. It had only been three months since his arrival in Rome, but the completely opposing positions to evaluate the upcoming summer transfer window broke off all relations between the board and the coach.
The Croatian was the second coach to resign in a few months at the Roman club after Maurizio Sarri did the same in March, leaving the team in a complicated situation, far from the European places.
Baroni is now facing his big chance as a coach, at the helm of a team that will be playing in the Europa League next season.
