Saudi Arabian football is at it again. This time, Al-Ittihad have announced through their social media channels the signing of Moussa Diaby, who has ended his time at Aston Villa with a bang.
In the pre-season of his second year in London, the forward has decided to leave for a new adventure. Unai Emery's side have tried everything they can to prevent the departure of the Frenchman, who was considered a key player in the English team.
No official figures have been released, but according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the transfer is worth around 60 million euros, a very significant amount that could be used by Aston Villa to sign Raphinha.
Last campaign, Moussa Diaby made 54 appearances for the English club, scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists. In recent days, there was talk of Al-Ittihad agreeing a deal for De Bruyne, but that option was ruled out as the Saudi Arabian side's priority was the French player.
As a result, Saudi Arabia have acquired yet another star with the arrival of the Frenchman, who will sign a five-season contract. Their next target is Ederson, with whom they have already made contact to try to sign him.
