PSG completed the signing of French Under-21 international striker Bradley Barcola on Thursday, who was landed from Olympique Lyonnais for 45 million euros plus five million euros in bonuses and has signed a five-season contract until 2028 with the reigning French champions.
The figures for the deal, provided by his club, where he has made 47 appearances for his first team, with seven goals and 11 assists after coming up through the youth ranks, raise the Parisian club's transfer investment this summer to 250.5 million euros, not including the 65 million euros they will have to pay for the compulsory option to buy Goncalo Ramos at the end of his current season-long loan from Benfica.
Born in Lyon, Bradley Barcola, now 20, has played for his hometown club Olympique since 2010, when he joined the youth ranks at the age of just eight, according to PSG, who have highlighted his versatility to play in "any of the attacking positions".
"I am very happy. I'm proud to be joining a great club. They have a lot of ambition, they play in big competitions and I want to give my all," said Barcola, who had already told Lyon "for several weeks", "through his representatives, of his desire to join PSG", according to the player's club. He has played at all levels of the club and had a contract until 2026.
