Milan announced on Monday the renewal of Dutchman Tijjani Reijnders, who extended his contract for two more seasons, until 2030, becoming the center of the 'Rossoneri' project.
"AC Milan are delighted to announce that Tijjani Reijnders has renewed his contract until 30 June 2030. Tijjani has been at AC Milan since summer 2023, and he has always shown his dynamism, quality and passion for the Club. With 90 appearances and 16 goals scored so far, the Dutchman will continue representing the Rossoneri."
The Dutch player arrived in 2023 from AZ Alkmaar for around 20 million euros and from the first day he became one of the best players in the squad.
In this turbulent moment in the history of the club, 9th in Serie A, he is one of the few players who has been spared the fierce criticism of the fans for his commitment, quality and efficiency.
Reijnders has made a total of 90 appearances for Milan, scoring a total of 16 goals. This season, in fact, he is the team's top scorer in the Serie A with 8 goals.
“I am very happy and proud. Milan is like a second home for me,” he told local media as he left Milan's premises after signing the agreement that will double his salary, which will now be around 3.5 million euros, reports in Italy revealed.
