As Fabrizio Romano announced a few days ago, Renato Sanches is joining AS Roma on a €1 million loan with a €15 million purchase option. The option will become compulsory if the player plays at least 60% of the matches.
The Portuguese - who has been hampered by injuries throughout the season - was not part of Luis Enrique's plans at Paris Saint-Germain, and is therefore leaving the capital one year after his arrival at the club.
In Italy, the 2016 Golden Boy is hoping to bounce back under Jose Mourinho after an injury-hit last season (27 official appearances in all competitions).
The 25-year-old was signed by the Paris-based club from Lille in 2022 for €15 million.
