Sadio Mane's time in Europe has come to an end. The Senegalese international has opened a new chapter in Saudi Arabia, where he will play for Pro-League side, Al-Nassr.
The club announced on Tuesday in a video posted to their official social media accounts that they had completed the signing of the winger from Bayern Munich.
Although no fee has been officially disclosed, it's reported the move cost 40 million euros and the contract runs for three years.
After six remarkably successful seasons with Liverpool, winning several titles including the Premier League and the Champions League, Mane departed just last summer for the Bundesliga where he had notably less success.
Scoring 12 goals in 38 appearances, his season was disrupted by injuries and locker room disputes, that saw him fined by the club and receive a one-match suspension.
He joins several stars who made the move from Europe's top leagues this summer, including Marcelo Brozovic, Seko Fofana and Alex Telles, as well as the superstar that started it all: Cristiano Ronaldo.
