Real Madrid have finally secured the future of one of their star players for many years at the club. The 'Merengues' announced on Tuesday the renewal of Vinicius Jr's contract until 2027, something that had been the subject of speculation in recent months.
According to Fabrizio Romano, it is possible that the international's new contract with the Selecao will include a termination clause of around one billion euros, making clear the club's intention that no other team will be able to pay it.
"Real Madrid C.F. and Vini Jr. have agreed on a contract extension for the player, who remains tied to the club until 30th June 2027," reads the statement issued by the Spanish club.
