According to reports in Spain, Dani Olmo is still registered at Leipzig while waiting for Barcelona to apply for an international transfer to FIFA to sign him for La Liga. The Catalans have not been able to complete this process despite the departures of Ilkay Gundogan, Vitor Roque and Clement Lenglet.

On FIFA's international platform, Dani Olmo is still registered with RB Leipzig although his move to Barcelona was announced more than a fortnight ago. Journalist Isaac Fouto received a screenshot from FIFA in which it can be seen that the Spaniard is still technically part of his former team.
Despite allowing the free transfer of Ilkay Gundogan to Manchester City, the loan of Vitor Roque to Real Betis and the loan of Clement Lenglet to Atletico Madrid, Joan Laporta's board has not been able to complete his registration.
Hansi Flick's side face Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday in La Liga and it is unlikely that the Spain international will be available. Journalist David Bernabeu has already revealed on his Twitter profile that Dani Olmo's inner circle is upset with the situation.
With only a few days to go until the transfer window closes, it is unknown what will happen to him if Barcelona do not process his international transfer. He may remain in limbo because Leipzig have formal documents proving his sale.
