Striker Samu Omorodion brought Porto out of their results crisis on Monday with a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win over Casa Pia in the 12th round of the Portuguese league.
The Dragons broke the deadlock in the 51st minute through Fábio Vieira, who finished off a pass from the Spanish international inside the box.
Shortly afterwards, on a counter-attack, the Brazilian Pepê set up Samu and the Melilla striker fired in a powerful shot to extend the lead and secure his 9th league goal of the season (13 in total).
Porto ended a run of four games without a win in all competitions, which included a 4-1 drubbing by Benfica the previous day and elimination from the Portuguese Cup at the hands of Moreirense.
