Oriol Romeu is already in Barcelona. The midfielder left Barcelona's training camp in the United States on Friday to sign for Girona in the coming days.
The player arrived in Barcelona on Saturday morning to confirm his return to Montilivi, the stadium where he has given his best performances just before leaving for Barcelona.
Oriol Romeu only played one season at the Girona outfit, just after spending almost a decade at Southampton. Under Michel, he became an essential part of the midfield.
The agreement between the two clubs is close, hence the permission given by Barcelona for Oriol Romeu to return to Spain to complete his loan move.
