Victor Osimhen's agent Roberto Calenda denied rumours of a possible move to Saudi Arabia, where Al-Ahli offered 65 million euros for the forward.
Osimhen is out of Napoli's plans at the moment and looking for a way out. He is not training with the squad and is out of the disposal of Antonio Conte, who hopes to have Romelu Lukaku as a centre-forward in the next few days.
The clearest avenues for the African's departure seemed to be Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, but in the last few hours, a €65m bid from Al Ahli appeared to change the course of negotiations. However, Calenda made it clear that his client will not go to Saudi Arabia.
"Osimhen is a Napoli player, with a contract recently renewed with mutual satisfaction. He made history and when there were major offers (also this year) we always accepted the club's decisions," he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"As I said, it is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets. Victor was elected African Footballer of the Year, eighth at the Ballon d'Or, he still has so much to do in Europe. There is a need for respect and balance," he added.
