On Sunday, Atletico Madrid face Real Sociedad and coach Diego Pablo Simeone has already put together the squad list for the La Liga clash. In it, there are three important absentees.
At the Reale Arena, the coach will be without Robin Le Normand, Cesar Azplicueta and Marcos Llorente. All of them are injured, so they have stayed at home.
Le Normand suffered a traumatic brain injury in the Madrid derby and is in the process of recovering. Cesar Azplicueta, meanwhile, is expected to make his comeback in the international break, while Marcos Llorente has a muscle injury that will keep him out for around three weeks.
But it's not all bad news. At last, a month later, Simeone will have Pablo Barrios at his disposal. The player, who played his last game against Athletic on 31 August, has overcome the injury he was carrying in his left leg and is ready to return.
