Ahead of Monday night's Nations League clash between Spain and Switzerland, Pedri was asked an update on the contract situation with Barcelona, however the midfielder revealed that there's no news.
“I’m very calm. My agents are taking care of it. There’s no news, but everything’s fine,” he said during his press conference on Sunday. Pedri's contract with the 'Azulgrana' expires in June 30th 2026, but his confidence will surely reassure fans.
The Spaniard also spoke on his injury-free run so far this season. “There are many games and you have to find your body. You have to look for solutions until you find the key. I have found what suits me well and I have the continuity that I have achieved,” he explained.
Pedri, who seems to have put his recent fitness problems behind him, further added: “I have found something that suits me physically. I have started enjoying football again.” Spain are already qualified for the Nations League quarter finals after confirming top spot with a win over Denmark on Friday.
