Flamengo man Arturo Vidal spoke to the media after his side's 1-1 draw against Racing in the Copa Libertadores. He was asked what he thought about the protests against Messi in Paris and said that "people get crazier everyday", and that he doesn't understand why they're insulting "the best in the world".

Messi">Leo Messi is not going through his best period at the Parc des Princes. The club sanctioned him for travelling to Saudi Arabia without permission, resulting in him apologising. What's more, ultra fans protested outside his house, insulting the World Champion.
It's a situation that the Argentine's friend Arturo Vidal doesn't understand at all. "People get crazier everyday. You can't insult the best in the world", he said to the media after his side's draw against Racing in the Libertadores Cup.
"Messi has played in basically all the matches. He's never injured. He's created the majority of the goals with Mbappe. Most of the passes are from him. It's crazy what's happening", he continued.
He hopes that the PSG striker makes the right choice for him at the end of the season: "Players like Messi or Neymar mark history, what's happening in Paris is crazy. Leo is always there in games, he always brightens things up whether they win or lose, trying to help the team. I don't get it. I wish him the best of luck and lost of strength, he's got a strong head on him. I hope he makes the best decision for him at the end of the season".
"People aren't happy with his performances sometimes, but you can't blame Messi for anything. He always does it well and helps the team", the Chilean concluded.
