"Perez exerts a lot of pressure" - La Liga chief Tebas hits out at Real Madrid president

La Liga chief Javier Tebas also spoke about his particular relationship with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. There is no doubt in anyone's mind that their relationship is not good, and the leader explained that their confrontation goes back a long way. "He says that Tebas shouldn't even be given water," he said.
"I had a good relationship with him until the centralised sale of television rights. That's when things started to get complicated. The phrase in which we distanced ourselves the most was when he told me 'Javier, you don't listen to me', and I told him 'I listen to you, what I don't do is pay attention to you’," he recalled.
He does not say that they have cut off contact, but their situation is tense. At the same time, he makes a harsh accusation: "Florentino makes a face like he has never broken a dish, but he breaks many. I kept talking to him, but always in a very pressurised position, doing what he wants".
"Florentino Perez exerts a lot of pressure. He removes and appoints newspaper directors... I say what I think and they don't like it. And I'm a Real Madrid fan," he concluded.
