PL teams looking to pounce £120m star amid 'diffcult' contract renewals
Liverpool, Man City and Man Utd are on full alert for Jamal Musiala who will soon be entering the final year of his contract with Bayern Munich. While the German club have publicly expressed their intention to keep the player, he has reportedly rejected their latest offer. Real Madrid and PSG are also monitoring the situation for the £120m-priced sensation.

Liverpool, Man City and Man Utd have been handed a huge boost in their hopes to sign Bayern Munich superstar Jamal Musiala. The 21-year-old has been in talks over a renewal with the Bundesliga club, with his current contract expiring in 2026. The German giants have publicly voiced their intention to keep Musiala - with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also stating that Bayern are confident about keeping Musiala - however, latest reports suggest that the player has now rejected the club's first offer.
According to 'the Mirror', Musiala wants to be paid £300k per week amid claims that his advisors believe the price reflects his standing within the sport. The fee would see Musiala earn €18 million per season - €4 million over the side's supposed offer of €14 million. Reluctancy to meet the alleged demands, could force the club to sell the player this summer in an attempt to limit the damage, as they would then risk losing him for free twelve months later.
While talks are seemingly still taking place between two parties, Bayern fears that they may not be able to financially compete with the likes of PSG or Madrid - who are also in the potential race for Musiala and are tracking the situation. The Bavarian club have already lost David Alaba and Toni Kroos to the La Liga giants in the past.
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl also admitted the challenge in getting Musiala to renew, as he spoke on the situation after Bayern's 1-6 victory away at Holstein Kiel. "The fact is that we have been exchanging ideas for months," Eberl said. "We will sit down and talk; we will do this in our own time. Yes, it is difficult. It is difficult, but it is not impossible. Jamal knows what he has at Bayern, but we also know what we have in Jamal. He grew up here, he earned his first merits, he has brought himself to this level. He should become one of the mainstays at Bayern," he concluded.
The Chelsea youth product is widely regarded as an established talent in today's football and a key figure in the future of German football. With the reported asking price being £120m, it is fair to say that a transfer race would not only be involving a PL battle, as Europe's elites will look to negotiate with the player, should the contract difficulties - as reported by 'Sport 1' - continue.
