Kolo Muani does not mind going up against Lionel Messi or any other player. Before the Argentina-France final, he spoke about how important the number 10 is to the 'Abiceleste'.
While everyone else has praised the PSG 'star', Kolo Muani has played down the importance of playing against him. "I've already played against Messi and it was nothing life-changing. I don't think it's going to change now".
The 24 year old striker emphasised that Messi was one of the players he watched on TV in his childhood, and that he thinks he is a "great player". If he gets the chance to play, he will try and enjoy it.
The Eintracht Frankfurt player said it was "magical" to score in a World Cup semi-final: "When I was a boy I dreamed of doing it, and now I'm really proud of myself, but also of my family and for my town. I hope I play in the final. If the manager picks me, I'll be ready".
Kolo Muani also recognised that the side's excitement is growing as the final draws closer, but he thanked the older players for their advice to help "keep them grounded".
The player, who left the press conference with Ousmane Dembele, confirmed that, just like his teammate, that those who are currently out ill will be at the final. "We gave them a tea and now they're better", the Barca player joked.
