Playing for Man Utd a 'lifelong dream', says Antony
Winger Antony has not been at his best since joining Manchester United but the Brazilian is confident of success at the Red Devils and declared that it is a "dream" for him to play for the Mancunian outfit.

Brazilian winger Antony decided to try his luck in the Premier League when he swapped Ajax for Manchester United in the summer of 2022 in a massive £86m deal, a huge outlay for the Red Devils at the request of their new manager at the time, Erik ten Hag.
However, the Selecao international has been far from the electric winger who impressed Europe when he was playing in the Eredivisie and has failed to live up to expectations. The 24-year-old was a regular starter during his debut season with the Mancunians making 44 official appearances, 39 of them starts, but only managed to score eight goals and provide three assists.
Little did the 24-year-old know that the signing of Rasmus Hojlund last summer and Alejandro Garnacho's breakthrough would see him drop down the pecking order at the Red Devils, leading to the player making just 17 starts this season and receiving plenty of criticism from the English press.
However, Antony has recently stated that he is confident of success at Old Trafford and that it has been his "lifelong dream" to play for Manchester United. "I try to learn from each criticism and so improve. I have been working silently to evolve and show my football on the field," he siad.
"I know my potential and I know why Man Utd hired me. I want to repay all of this on the field. It was my lifelong dream to be here," concluded the Brazilian.
