Mauricio Pochettino could become the new England manager. The Argentinian coach has given comments to 'The Telegraph' in which he seemed willing to take over from Gareth Southgate as manager.
He has been without a club since leaving PSG due to poor results. Pochettino has had no problem in saying that he is willing to become the future England coach.
"Of course my relationship with England has always been good. We have a very good relationship with the academies trying to develop young players for the national team. I feel very comfortable here. You never know what will happen. I'm open to everything," the former PSG coach said.
During the much awaited World Cup in Qatar which starts on Sunday 20th November, the Argentinian coach will work for 'The Athletic' as a collaborator.
Pochettino also spoke to 'El Pais' and he looked at the chances Argentina have of winning the World Cup. The tournament could be main man Leo Messi's final one. "Argentina have known how to adapt all elements so that the best player in the world feels the best. There is a country behind that thinking that Leo deserves an important trophy, even more so than the country itself. That emotion is real. He's a person who thinks things over a lot, he's not so impulsive. Diego did what he felt in every moment. Leo thinks things over a lot more."
"Leo has the motivation, heart, charisma and energy to lead the team. He never makes a mistake with his foot when it comes to striking the ball, he finds things in simple things. On the other hand, Neymar finds pleasure in simple things, he's irresponsible by nature," Pochettino added.
