Xabi Alonso's side are winless in four competitive matches against Roma. The German side will host Mourinho's men at the BayArena stadium for the second leg of the Europa League semi-final.
The Italian side have a slight 1-0 lead on aggregate thanks to a goal scored by Edoarado Bove in the 63rd minute of the first leg in Italy.
"Obviously, I would love to get to this final. Not so much for me. As I said, I've become a different person and think more about others than myself. I would like it so much for the boys and for the fans," Mourinho told reporters.
Both teams are not in their best form as both have won only one match out of their last five. But they will be fighting for a ticket to the Europa League final, where they will face either Sevilla or Juventus.
Slavko Vincic will referee the match and Nejc Kajtazovic will be the VAR. They will be accompanied by Tomaz Klancnik (assistant referee), Tomaz Klancnik (assistant referee) and Irfan Peljto (fourth official).
