RB Leipzig host Manchester City at Redbull Arena in Champions League Group G matchday 2 at 20:00 BST. Both teams have 3 points from their opening UCL game and will be looking for a win to take them to the top of their group which also includes Young Boys and Crvena Zvezda.
Portuguese Artur Dias will be the main referee. Guardiola will be without Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Stones who are doubtful but have travelled to Germany with the team. On the Leipzig side the list of absentees is longer: Bitshiabu, Dani Olmo and Orban, while Werner is doubtful due to a back problem.
The Cityzens' Spanish coach will be able to count on Rodrigo, who has been a key player this season. Gvardiol will face his former team and will do his best to perform well to take the place of Nathan Ake, so far one of City's first-choice centre-backs. Julian Alvarez, who scored a brace in the opening day against Crvena Zvezda, is also expected to be in the Sky Blues attack with Norwegian Erling Haaland.
RB Leipzig possible starting XI: Blaswich; Klostermann, Simakan, Lukeba, Raum, Schlager, Kampl, Simons, Forsberg, Poulsen, Openda.
Man City possible starting XI: Ederson; Walker, Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol, Kovacic, Foden, Alvarez, Doku, Haaland.
