After sweating buckets to beat Valencia in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final on penalties, Real Madrid are now thinking of defending the title they won last year. Elsewhere, Barcelona also booked their place in the final after eliminating Betis on penalties following a 2-2 draw.
Uruguyan Barcelona defender Ronaldo Araujo worked on specific drills in the side's last training session before the Spanish Super Cup final, but the centre-back will be available for Xavi Hernandez in the match against 'Los Blancos'.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid will have to do without Alaba, Tchouameni and Lucas Vazquez for the contest. The Austrian and the Frenchman did not travell to Saudi Arabia due to muscle injuries while the Spanish right-back suffered an ankle injury against Valencia.
Real Madrid possible line-up: Courtois; Carvajal, Milita, Rudiger, Mendy; Kroos, Valverde, Modric; Rodrygo, Benzema and Vinicius.
Barcelona possible line-up: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Christensen, Balde; F de Jong, Busquets, Pedri; Dembele, Lewandowski and Fati.
