The pots for Germany's UEFA EURO 2024 have been confirmed. After the qualifying round with some disappointments such as the crash of Haaland's Norway and good news such as Italy's qualification for the tournament without having to go through the play-offs, UEFA confirmed on its social networks the seedings of the teams that will be drawn for the draw that will take place on Saturday 2nd December at 18:00 CET.
Pot 1: Germany, Portugal, France, Spain, Belgium and England.
Pot 2: Hungary, Turkey, Romania, Denmark, Albania and Austria.
Pot 3: Netherlands, Scotland, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia and Czech Republic.
Pot 4: Italy, Serbia, Switzerland, Play-off A winner, Play-off B winner and Play-off C winner.

The UEFA draw works as follows: the teams in Pot 1 are drawn from the bowl in which the names of each national team are grouped and assigned to each of the six preliminary knockout drawers. When everything is settled, it is then on to pot 2 and then to pot 3 and vice versa, so that the opponents of each team will not be fully known until the last papers are draw
There is one exception: Germany. As the hosts, it has to appear as the leader of Group A and, in turn, as the top seed. Another interesting fact is the list of fixtures banned by the UEFA Committee, although none of them are possible because there is always one of the teams out of the play-offs and the pots. There could be no Bosnia and Herzegovina-Kosovo, Serbia-Kosovo, Ukraine-Belarus, Azerbaijan-Armenia or Spain-Gibraltar before the Round of 16.
